I’m a a hydrologist by day, but spend an embarrassing amount of my free time in the sewing room trying to create the perfect (or at least good enough) me-made wardrobe. I grew up inspired by the sewing of my foremothers, but didn’t start sewing in earnest until 2012, shortly after I moved to New Mexico. When I’m not sewing, I can be found endlessly redecorating my mid-century home, skiing or rafting depending on the season, and seeking out the best hot springs in the southwestern US. You can find me online at www.thegreenviolet.wordpress.com or @thegreenviolet on Instagram.
