Hello, fellow Sewcialists!
Our little community has been growing steadily since we relaunched in June, and it’s exciting to see the word spread. It seems like a lot of us are passionate about making the sewing community welcoming for everyone!
This week, we were featured in a post on While She Naps, written by Abby Glassenberg. Abby writes and podcasts about all aspects of the crafting world, including her unique perspective on the business of craft.
And if you want to know even more about the Sewcialists, have a listen to our episode from fall on the Love To Sew Podcast!
Thank you for being so open to our #WhoWeAre discussions about age, size, ethnicity, health, gender, and so much more — and thank you also for taking part in our theme months, which keep things fun!
Dear Reader: Our goal is to build community and make everyone feel welcome. We support crafting as an inclusive and welcoming space for people of all ages, abilities, ethnicities, genders, orientations and sizes. Regarding sewing challenge themes, we ask that you take each challenge as you see it fitting in your life, and express your involvement how you like, at the given time. Our challenges are for the pure enjoyment of participation and the love of community. Extended Mission Page Here.
