Hello wonderful Sewcialists! My name is Jessica from Always A Crafty Lady and I’ll be your host for this post! You all really went beyond our expectations in participating numbers so this is the third round up post. I am impressed!!!
Silverluna88 has the distinction of starting another of our round ups, in fact she has 5 projects for this round up! Whew! Pretty epic.
First up is her Wembly Cardigan from Seamwork that was inspired by Amanda at I Sew A Lot as well as the Stitch Sisters.

Next is the Zadie Dress from Tilly and the Buttons. Gosh, I think this pattern is super cute. For this one Silver was inspired by Gabberdashery!
I think many members of the curvy sewing community have been happy to see the Cashmerette patterns arrive in the marketplace and I love how Silver used two different fabrics for her Turner Dress inspired by NaturalDane.
Last from Silver is this darling duo. The adult version is the Orla Dress pattern from French Navy while the child version is a Burda pattern. Both inspired by Lifting Pins and Needles.
Denise tackle ice dying fabric for her stunning version of Butterick 6050 inspired by Bianca from Thanks, I Made Them. This dress looks just perfect for summer!
Next is a double dose of fabulous sewing. Christy from Clever Tinker made this sophisticated dress from a vintage pattern, Style 2929 inspired by Jolies Bobines. It’s basically everything I’ve been looking for in a dress, so I’m jealous of her find!
Becky from Sew Adagio has been posting about sewing and motherhood (Go Becky!) and finished the Jalie Vanessa pants inspired by our very own Gillian. I’m so happy to see she made herself a nice pair of work pants to fit her current body!
What a pretty romantic dress from Laura at Cotton Reel Studio! She made two versions of Sew Over It’s Eve Dress and was inspired by another Bianca, but this time from Sleepless in Bavaria.
Another Sewcialist who found Gillian inspirational is Linda from acraftyscrivener! This bold plaid is really fun and the dress looks perfectly suited to Linda’s daughter.
Chris made this super sleek Charlie Caftan and I must say her inset panel looks very nicely sewn! I also love the fabric choice and how nicely is compliments the inspiration dress from Did You Make That?
Next is my own tribute project! I ended up altering a vintage skirt as tribute to the master of alterations, Fit For a Queen!
Diane from Distaff made this very fabulous pair of pants as tribute to the popular blogger Lladybird. I am super impressed!!!
Claire from Belle Citadel made the kitty-rific Style Arc Kylie top as tribute to Lara from Thornberry. Meow!
Ailycia made a chic maxi skirt and did some fabulous print mixing in honor of Marcy from Oonaballoona. Also check out that pattern matching!
Mini.Adventure managed to make 3 projects for for Tribute Month. First up is this cool and comfortable Scout Tee inspired by Helen at Just Sew Therapeutic.
Her other two projects are these adorable knit dresses from the Made It Patterns Spin Dress inspired by Emi at Just Add Fabric.
Caitlyn‘s chic peplum dress was on the Sewcialist’s blog and it is quite lovely. She combined two different Simplicity patterns in her tribute to Erica Bunker!
Julie managed to source the same fabric in order to pay tribute to two of her favorite sewers. Super fun idea! Her inspirations were Elle at Sew Positivity and Saturday Night Stitch.
Last for this round up, I wanted to do a special shout to our hostess with the mostess, Gillian! She completed 3 projects and some of them are really outside her usual comfort zone. Congratulations Gillian and thank you for hosting the return of the Sewcialists!
We had so many fabulous projects this month that we are going to need a FOURTH round-up to include them all! We’ll be back with the final one soon – then next week, you’ll get the chance to vote on our next theme month topic!
